What We Do

NPPT is an engineering research, technology development, consulting and services firm specializing in time-domain electromagnetic simulation of power systems, including custom controls.  Our primary areas of application are:

• Integration of distributed energy resources, such as photovoltaics, wind, or distributed storage, into power systems
• Design, analysis, deployment and monitoring of autonomous power systems (intentional islands, or "microgrids"), particularly those that incorporate renewable energy
• infrastructure supporting electric transportation, including EVs or rail
